1. Service Definition
We provide online Registered Device (RD) Service registration and renewal for UIDAI-compliant biometric devices (L1 and L0 models as permitted). This service ensures your device's biometric data is encrypted at the source.
2. User Responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for providing the correct Make, Model, and Serial Number of your device.
- You must ensure your device is in working physical condition before purchasing an RD service recharge.
- You agree to use the registered device strictly for lawful purposes permitted by UIDAI (eKYC, AEPS, Jeevan Pramaan, etc.).
3. Activation Time
We strive to provide instant activation within 5 to 15 minutes of successful payment. However, activation times may occasionally be delayed due to manufacturer server maintenance or UIDAI portal downtime.
4. Limitation of Liability
RD Online Service acts as a facilitator for registering your device with the respective manufacturers (Morpho, Mantra, Access/Startek, Precision). We are not responsible for:
- Changes in UIDAI guidelines that render your specific device model obsolete.
- Hardware damage or wear and tear of your biometric scanner.
- Temporary server outages on the manufacturer's end.
